Week 17

Josh makes fun of me for reading a LOT of chicago food blogs, but sometimes it pays off.  I read about the Pastoral Artisan Producer Festival located in the french market.  It was free entry and they had hundreds of vendors, offering cheese, wine, beer and other snacks (what else do you need!).  We tasted so many great things and were full and happy when we left.  One the highlights was the avacado's with spoons and truffle honey, we were in heaven!

Week 16

Week 16...I had to travel to Wisconsin for work without Josh.  And allthough I felt bad, I HAD to stop at the new Mars Cheese Castle.  I think Josh was happy with the loot I brought home.

We also had our good friend Nick visit on week 16.  We had a great weekend, lots of laughs and lots of great food!  We took Nick to a cubs rooftop game, needless to say the wind was coming off the lake and it was COLD!  We had a great time!
