Week 14...Happy Easter!

Since we were not able to be home with our family this Easter, we did some research and found a new brunch place to celebrate with friends.  We are not going to lie, the service was commically slow,  but we had bottomless mimosas so who can complain.  As you can tell from the pics we had a great time.  After brunch we played a friendly game of "bags" in the alley.  (see if you can spot our future Chrismas card)

Week 13

Week 13 we saw a new movie...HUNGER GAMES!  We have both read the books and thought the movie was really done well.  But I (kar) felt like I was seeing a move I had already seen.   But overall it was really good.

On Wednesday our little sister Alie Jo came to town.  We had a great few days together and we were able to go to her show on Thursday.  We love our Alie Jo and can't wait to see her again in a few weeks!

Week 12....Part 3

The celebration continues...who doesn't love Thanksgiving in March and a perfect birthday cake.  Couldn't live without our Chicago family.

Week 12...Part 2

To continue to Josh's birthday celebration we had some friends over on Friday. Great food and great friends!

Week 12...part 1

Week 12 our one and only Josh turned 31.  It started with a surprise dinner at Mercadito.  The dinner was amazing and we can't wait to go back.

Week 11

Week 11 we went to Spring Training in Arizona with the Gemma's and Nick.  We had an amazing time and definitely something we want to do again.  On Friday we went to see the Cubs play the Giants and on Saturday we saw the Angels play the Brewers.  Such a great weekend with great friends.

At the Cubs game Josh met Miss Illinois

By day 2 we were regulars at the neighborhood bar, The Dirty Drummer.

Week 10

In week 10 our girl Kristin aka Richard came to town for a visit.  We always have an amazing time when Richard is here and we had a jam packed weekend with lots of new things.

First we went to visit a friend at Bistro Bordeaux in Evanston. The food was AMAZING!  And Josh got to try Escargot for the first time.

On Sunday we had a marathon of fun including the Untouchables Tour which was a first for all of us.

Week 9

Sometime you have so much fun you forget to take pictures. On week 9 we went to the Hick's house for a house party. Imagine a bunch of 30 somethings singing Glee karaoke and a blind beer tasting with the worst beers we could buy. All in all a great night.

On Sunday we got to babysit the adorable Ava Beth.
